SPLAT’s Camps for Kids and Teens are for children ages 6-14 and are designed to support the emerging artist. These camps provide the opportunity and support for student artists to build their confidence and autonomy while building their art making skills.
These drop-off camps run weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday both in the morning from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and in the afternoon from 12:30-2:30 p.m. During our camps, student artists will have time to discover and develop their ideas, then practice and gain mastery of hands-on, art making skills. Each 3-day session is devote!d to development in a specific art medium.
In an effort to cultivate positive, early art experiences, it is our goal to provide a nurturing, creative environment for our artists. Our staff recognizes that both the hands-on art skills we teach and the ability to work independently are emerging skills for these ages, so we are ready to tailor our instruction to each young artist’s skill level.
